There are many things to take into consideration when deciding to rent verses purchase a tradeshow display or exhibit.
- How often will you be using it?
- Do you have storage facilities, or have a supplier with that capabilities?
- Do you plan on handling all of the logistics, shipping and install / Dismantle yourself.
- Budget, can you afford to purchase right now, or explore a rent to own option?
there are many companies that rent popup displays for 10x10 booth spaces, this is a very easy setup and most of the time the rental company offers the option of using the for the install and dismantle. If you are doing more than 3 or 4 shows a year, it may be more cost effective to purchase. Also take into consideration the graphics. if you purchase you can have full graphics printed. Renting you are usually limited to Velcro on, smaller graphics.
There are a number of companies that rent large custom exhibits. The find the benefit of having the exhibit company store the system, handle the logistics, install and dismantle, and maintenance, far out weigh the cost benefits of actually purchasing.
The other advantage of renting a custom exhibit is the changeability. After a few shows you may find that changes are required, or even a totally new look, Renting gives more flexibility this way. Purchasing you are sitting with an exhibit to sell off or convert.
